April 13th, 2011F-star raises EUR 15M in a New Financing led by SR One To progress product candidates into development and maximise potential
F-star GmbH, a biopharmaceutical company developing a new generation of antibody based products using its Modular Antibody Technology platform, today announced the closing of a EUR 15 Million financing. The investment was led by SR One, the corporate venture capital arm of GlaxoSmithKline. All of F-star’s existing investors, Atlas Venture, Aescap Venture, Novo Ventures, TVM Capital, Merck Serono Ventures and MP Healthcare Venture Management, also participated in the round. As a result of the financing SR One Partner Dr Deborah Harland and Dr Axel Polack of TVM Capital will join F-star’s Supervisory Board.

November 22nd, 2010F-star and Boehringer Ingelheim to collaborate in discovery and development of therapeutic antibodies
F-star Biotechnologische Forschungs-und Entwicklungsges.m.b.H today announced the signing of a collaboration and license agreement with Boehringer Ingelheim for joint discovery of new antibody-derived therapeutic products based on F-star's Modular Antibody Technology. Under the terms of the agreement, Boehringer Ingelheim will nominate up to seven targets, which may span multiple therapeutic areas, against which the parties will collaborate to jointly discover Fcabs for further global development and commercialisation by Boehringer Ingelheim either as therapeutic products in their own right or as modules for the generation of bispecific mAb² ™ products.

January 6th, 2010F-star raises € 8m in an Extended Series A Financing co-led by MP Health-care Venture Management and Merck Serono Ventures
F-star, an antibody engineering company developing novel antibodies and antibody fragments based on its unique Modular Antibody Technology, announced today the closing of an EUR 8 Million Extended Series A financing. The investment round was co-led by MP Healthcare Venture Management (MPH) and Merck Serono Ventures. f-star's existing investors comprising Atlas Venture, Aescap Venture, Novo Ventures and TVM Capital also participated in this round.

In the course of the transaction, TVM Capital, a transatlantic venture capital firm based in Munich and Boston, acquired NCP's minority stake in F-star.

November 28th, 2007F-Star Raises EUR 3.0 million in a Second Closing of its Series A Financing Round from Novo A/S
F-star, an antibody engineering company developing novel antibodies and antibody fragments based on its unique Modular Antibody Technology, today announced that it has raised EUR 3.0 million from Novo A/S in a Second Closing of its Series A financing round, originally co-led by Aescap Venture and Atlas Venture. After this Second Closing, the amount raised in the Series A round increases to EUR 9.0 million. In total, the Company has raised EUR 13.0 million since inception in 2006.
